Quality Inspector

Sisson Engineering Corp is seeking an individual with experience in quality and/or machining, (willing to be trained), to assist in all areas of quality assurance in a fast-paced precision machining environment. SEC is a premier manufacturing company creating critical components for Medical, Robotics, Aerospace and Defense industries. We are an AS9100-certified company that is rapidly expanding.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspections of machined parts using hand and computerized inspection tools (CMM).
  • Interpret engineering drawings/prints and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality measures and standards.
  • Work closely with the production department to determine and implement best measures for assuring quality control.
  • Perform and maintain calibration for inspection equipment.
  • Work with quality associates to maintain AS9100 certification.

Other Positive Attributes:

  • Fluency in reading engineering documentation including blue print reading and GD&T tolerances.
  • Strong work ethic with an excellent teamwork attitude.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • ISO or AS9100 experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

 

 

First and Second Shift Machine Operators

Sisson Engineering Corp is seeking individuals for our first and second shift operations with experience in machining and/or machine operating, (willing to be trained), to assist in all areas of machine production in a fast-paced precision machining environment. SEC is a premier manufacturing company creating critical components for Medical, Robotics, Aerospace and Defense industries. We are an AS9100-certified company that is rapidly expanding.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce very precise machined parts by operating the latest high tech CNC Vertical, Horizontal and 5X milling machines. 
  • Read engineering drawings.
  • Maintaining quality standards by performing and keeping records of inspection. 
  • Perform daily machine maintenance
  • Work with quality team to verify in process inspections.
  • Sustain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Second Shift Supervisor

Sisson Engineering Corp is seeking an individual with experience managing production operations in a fast-paced precision machining environment. SEC is a premier manufacturing company creating critical components for Medical, Robotics, Aerospace and Defense industries. We are an AS9100-certified company that is rapidly expanding.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the operations manager.
  • Executing production plan while ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
  • Coach, guide, and train personnel to ensure continued positive performance.
  • Strong leadership, communications and people skills required 
  • Interact with key first shift members to ensure a smooth and efficient transition at shift change
  • Interact with associates in a way that promotes success and inspires creativity
  • Participate in production meetings to ensure plan execution
  • Oversee facility and ensure a safe working environment at all times during the second shift.
  • Maintain AS/ ISO procedures and requirements and utilize to drive continuous improvement

Other Positive Attributes:

  • Managing and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to production personnel for troubleshooting CNC machining centers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS office products, particularly Excel.
  • ISO or AS9100 experience preferred.

 

CNC Lathe Programmer/Set-Up Person

Candidate must have at least three years experience setting up and running CNC turning Centers. You must have a working knowledge of CNC programming and CAM experience is preferred.

CNC Mill Programmer/Set-Up Person

Candidate must have at least three years experience setting up and running CNC milling Centers. You must have a working knowledge of CNC programming and CAM experience is preferred.

Prototype Machinist

Candidate must have at least five years of manual machining of precision component parts with the ability to work independently and manufacture components from CAD and paper drawings. CNC experience is preferred.
